MEET THE PASTOR
Rev. Anthony Felder

Pastor Felder was born in Houston, Texas and is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Michael Felder. The solid, faith-based foundation on which he stands today is attributed to the significant role they have played in his spiritual and physical development.

Pastor Felder began his education through the Houston Public School system and graduated as the Valedictorian from Phillis Wheatley High School (2002). He later matriculated to Texas Southern University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and obtained his Master’s in Educational Leadership from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity from Southern Methodist University. He is actively employed with the Sheldon Independent School District where he serves as an Assistant Principal at C.E. King Senior High School. He currently holds a certification in Business Education.

Rev. Felder answered his call to the ministry in 2003 under the leadership of Presiding Elder Chuma Okoli. Since answering his call, Rev. Felder has taught Sunday School, Bible Study, planned many Vacation Bible Schools, and has written and produced many plays for the youth. The most important thing about Rev. Felder is his love for bringing people to Jesus Christ. Rev. Anthony Felder is married to Aisha Felder and has two sons Anthony Jr., Ayden Felder and one daughter, Amari. Rev. Felder has served as the Youth Pastor of East Orange African Methodist Episcopal Church, Pastor of Allen Chapel in Huntsville, and served as the Pastor of St. Mark A.M.E. Church in Needville. Rev. Felder is currently the proud pastor of Wayman Chapel AME Church.
